VP of Finance

📋 Description

• Act as a principal strategic architect for Offchain's financial trajectory and collaborate with the executive team on capital strategies and long-term financial planning.

• Evaluate the current financial landscape and devise a plan for enhancement.

• Create Offchain’s long-term financial roadmap that aligns with growth objectives and ecosystem development.

• Oversee treasury management and capital allocation strategies, maximizing liquidity and minimizing risk in a digital-asset-focused environment.

• Establish enterprise-wide standards for financial reporting, audit preparedness, and internal control systems.

• Provide the executive team with data-driven insights and financial modeling for critical decision-making and optimization of the business model.

• Design and execute a scalable financial technology infrastructure and data framework.

• Automate routine reconciliations and ensure real-time visibility into overall performance.

• Lead cross-functional initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, as well as complex tax structuring.

• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and strategic partners.

• Ensure compliance and advanced reporting within a complex regulatory framework.

• Over 10 years of advancing finance leadership experience.

• Significant experience in scaling operations within high-growth technology settings.

• Proven ability to influence company strategy, fundraising efforts, and organizational design at the Board and executive levels.

• Experience in building, mentoring, and developing high-performing finance and accounting teams from the ground up.

• Expertise in complex financial modeling.

• Capability to synthesize multifaceted data sets into actionable narratives for executives.

• Ability to bring structure and discipline to a fast-paced, ambiguous scaling startup environment.

• Exceptional clarity in presentations to the Board, investors, and external regulatory entities.

• Proficient in translating complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.

• Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape, including digital-asset treasury management and blockchain-based financial operations.
