Senior Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design and spearhead the execution of financial strategies for global service delivery to Stripe.

• Supervise the creation, management, and forecasting of budgets for the Americas region.

• Lead the financial reporting and analysis for worldwide operations, pinpointing trends and opportunities.

• Propel financial standardization and best practices across all regions.

• Offer financial guidance and oversight to regional finance teams.

• Create and track key performance indicators to evaluate financial performance.

• Ensure adherence to contracts and uphold financial governance across all service lines.

• Manage financial elements of client relationship management and quarterly business reviews.

• Collaborate with operations leadership to enhance service delivery costs and efficiency.

• Oversee the implementation and enhancement of financial systems.

• Direct financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

• Administer financial risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies.

• Mentor and nurture finance team members throughout the organization.

• Partner with global procurement on strategic sourcing initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with teams across various global regions and time zones.

• Engage in regular virtual meetings with JLL leadership, operations teams, and Stripe stakeholders.

• Travel approximately 20% for in-person leadership meetings, client reviews, and site visits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of progressive experience in financial management, ideally within the service industry.

• Professional accounting or finance qualification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent).

• Experience leading financial operations in a multi-region or global context.

• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business strategies.

• Exceptional analytical abilities with advanced financial modeling expertise.

• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences.

• Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing finance professionals.

• Experience with the implementation and optimization of financial systems.

• Preferred knowledge of facilities management financial structures.

• Master's degree in Finance, MBA, or an equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

• Financial experience in integrated facilities management, corporate real estate, or professional services industries is preferred.

• Background in managing finances for Fortune 500 clients or similarly complex accounts is preferred.

• Preferred knowledge of global financial operations and multi-currency management.

• Background in contract financial management and service level agreements is preferred.

• Understanding of the financial implications of sustainability and ESG initiatives is preferred.

• Experience in change management and organizational transformation is preferred.

• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and their implementation is preferred.

• Proficiency in G-Suite.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Approximately 20% travel required.
