Financial Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of essential elements in the monthly closing process, which includes journal entries, account reconciliations, inter-company transactions, and support for financial reporting.

• Collaborate directly with the Controller and the wider Finance team.

• Assist in establishing audit-ready procedures as the organization progresses towards IPO readiness.

• Play a key role in the evolution of the core accounting function across various entities and regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in full-cycle closing, encompassing journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis, and variance commentary.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP.

• Preferably experienced in a pre-IPO, IPO-stage, or publicly traded company context.

• Familiarity with developing or enhancing internal controls and SOX-compliant accounting processes.

• Possession of a CPA, ACA, or ACCA qualification, whether active or in progress.

• Proficient in NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.

• Previous experience in a rapidly growing SaaS or technology firm is advantageous.

• Knowledge of intercompany accounting, foreign exchange translation, and multi-entity consolidation is a plus.
