This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Lead and mentor the Accounting Manager along with the finance team.
• Supervise accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closures, consolidated financial reporting, general ledger accuracy, and adherence to US GAAP standards.
• Guarantee precise, prompt, and dependable financial reporting while maintaining robust internal controls and financial governance.
• Manage treasury operations, cash management, banking relationships, payment controls, and liquidity oversight.
• Oversee external audits, tax compliance, preparation of financial statements, and maintain relationships with auditors, banking partners, and external consultants.
• Collaborate with the Senior Director of FP&A and executive leadership on accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning initiatives.
• Offer financial guidance to cross-functional leadership.
• Prepare and deliver financial results, board materials, and reporting packages to executive leadership, the Board, and private equity sponsors.
• Propel finance transformation through process enhancements, workflow automation, AI integration, and emerging technologies.
• Lead finance initiatives during acquisitions, which include accounting due diligence and post-acquisition financial integration.
• Manage finance-related activities concerning debt refinancing, lender due diligence, financial reporting, covenant compliance, and banking coordination.
• Cultivate relationships with banking partners, lenders, auditors, and external advisors.
• Ensure that finance operations, systems, and controls evolve with organizational growth and acquisitions.
• Advise executive leadership on financial and operational issues.
• CPA designation is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
• Proven leadership experience in a multi-entity or multi-site organization.
• Background in leading accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury, audits, tax compliance, and internal controls.
• Strong technical accounting skills and a comprehensive understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience in leading and nurturing high-performing accounting teams through managerial roles.
• Familiarity with debt refinancing activities, lender reporting, banking relationships, or other corporate financing projects.
• Proficient in ERP systems, such as NetSuite.
• Experience in implementing automation, AI, or other emerging technologies to enhance finance operations and boost team productivity.
• Background in supporting mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and post-acquisition financial integration.
• Experience in private equity-backed firms, healthcare, clinical research, professional services, or other complex multi-site settings is highly preferred.
