• Oversee and develop our revenue strategy from start to finish — including pricing, packaging, and monetization.
• Create and enhance the upsell and expansion processes.
• Analyze the unit economics and key metrics defining a marketplace — take rate, contribution margin per delivery, gross margin, CAC:LTV, net revenue retention, and burn multiple.
• Collaborate with the Go-to-Market team on deal-level pricing for complex enterprise opportunities, and establish revenue forecasting and operational discipline.
• Expand our accounting operations — closing processes, controls, and systems — into a trustworthy, in-house-quality function.
• Set up financial controls, policies, and ensure audit readiness.
• Lead financial preparations - including modeling, data room organization, narrative development, and due diligence.
• Manage investor and board relationships, reporting, and presentation materials alongside the co-founders.

• Develop the systems, processes, and team that enable efficient company growth.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to the founders on company-wide operational decisions.
• Over 10 years of experience in finance and operations with senior leadership roles — such as VP of Finance, Head of Finance & Operations, or on a CFO track within a high-growth startup.
• A hands-on player-coach — you construct the model, forecast, and board deck independently before delegating, and are comfortable with detailed accounting.
• Have led or played a crucial role in growth fundraising — including modeling, diligence, and managing investor/board relations.
• Proficient in marketplace/usage-based accounting — including gross vs. net revenue treatment, revenue recognition, high-volume transaction reconciliation, and contractor/provider payouts.
• Have built and expanded an FP&A function, evolving finance operations into a rigorous, dependable engine.
• Strong understanding of unit economics *and* marketplace metrics — take rate, contribution margin, CAC:LTV, net revenue retention, burn multiple — along with revenue strategies (pricing, packaging, expansion).
• Operational versatility — capable of owning or collaborating across HR, Legal, and broader G&A functions.
• Deep accounting expertise (CPA or equivalent experience preferred), with a proven record of timely, clean financial closes and robust controls.
• A true strategic partner to founders who translates numerical insights into company-building decisions.
• **Bonus: experience in logistics, delivery, supply chain, or another operations-heavy marketplace.**
• Competitive salary, stock options, and performance-based bonuses.
• Fully remote work environment.
• Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance.
