This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead, motivate, and oversee a high-performing team of enterprise sales professionals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and growth ambitions.
• Formulate and implement the sales strategy aimed at acquiring and retaining large-scale enterprise clients within the payments industry.
• Propel the sales pipeline by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and managing intricate sales processes from lead generation to closure.
• Establish ambitious sales targets and achieve measurable results.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key enterprise clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
• Serve as the main point of contact for premier clients, comprehending their payment requirements and challenges.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, market changes, and emerging technologies in the payments and fintech sectors.
• Offer insights and recommendations to leadership on product innovation, competitive positioning, and market entry tactics.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, including product, marketing, and operations, to ensure client requirements are met and the company's offerings align with market needs.
• Work with the marketing team to develop focused campaigns and messaging.
• Lead negotiations for enterprise-level contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals and profitability standards.
• Successfully finalize large and intricate deals while maintaining long-term client satisfaction.
• Create and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor sales team performance and ensure alignment with overarching company objectives.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, challenges, and potential opportunities.
• Mentor and develop the sales team, offering continual training and support to promote individual and collective success.
• Cultivate a collaborative, results-oriented, and customer-focused sales culture.
• A minimum of 10+ years in enterprise sales, with at least 5 years in the payments or fintech industry.
• Demonstrable success in closing large deals and leading high-performance sales teams.
• Proven ability in leading, coaching, and mentoring sales teams to surpass targets and achieve substantial revenue growth.
• Capacity to inspire and energize others towards excellence.
• Comprehensive understanding of the payments ecosystem, including payment processing, merchant services, card networks, alternative payment methods, and emerging fintech trends.
• Required knowledge of cryptocurrency, including emerging trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes.
• Strong negotiation and closing capabilities, with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals in a high-pressure environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with executive-level clients and stakeholders.
• Data-driven approach to sales management, with the capability to leverage analytics and insights for optimizing sales processes and decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
