VP of Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the core engineering organization, encompassing R&D and application engineering.

• Collaborate closely with QA, Release Management, and DevOps leadership teams.

• Propel the modernization of the enterprise technology platform.

• Create and implement long-term engineering investment strategies.

• Spearhead the adoption of an AI-enabled Software Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC).

• Set engineering standards and maintain quality controls.

• Manage engineering execution from initial concept to customer delivery.

• Cultivate a high-performing distributed engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in software engineering.

• At least 7 years in leadership roles within engineering organizations with expanding scope and responsibilities.

• Extensive technical expertise in Microsoft enterprise technologies such as .NET, C#, React, and Oracle.

• Proven hands-on leadership in implementing AI-enabled Software Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC) or similar AI-enhanced software engineering methodologies.

• Experience in integrating AI/ML and intelligent automation into enterprise software products and engineering processes.

• Strong foundation in DevOps, CI/CD, quality engineering, release management, and engineering automation.
