This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Drive sales of new and manage significant strategic ASRx prospects while overseeing the ongoing management of strategic accounts.
• Surpass the annual new business sales target, which typically ranges from $100M to $1.0B.
• Serve as a sales leader, engaging directly with customers to promote ASRx sales for US Pharma and One McKesson opportunities.
• Spearhead sales initiatives nationwide.
• Manage national GPO groups, often representing over $1.0B in annual expenditures.
• Acquire new business for ASRx.
• Oversee the SF.com funnel.
• Take personal accountability for strategic national account prospects within the ASRx sales funnel.
• Collaborate with finance to monitor ASRx customers and prospects.
• Aid in the development and execution of segment sales strategies.
• Formulate growth plans for designated national accounts.
• Work with prospects to identify their opportunity needs.
• Support the pricing team in crafting financial models for prospects and customer-retention pharmacy revenue and savings forecasts.
• Represent McKesson's ASRx Solutions portfolio, which includes revenue enhancement billing assessment and recovery, supply chain optimization, pharmacy opportunities, practice-efficiency tools and techniques, patient assistance programs, 340B opportunities, and OneStop generics.
• Manage prospects and the sales funnel effectively.
• Support McKesson enterprise initiatives, including HealthMart Atlas, Community Pharmacy, RxOwnership, and other MMS programs.
• Assist in the development of SCP programs, including the design, development, and education of McKesson teams on their value.
• Support marketing efforts across the US either in-person or by developing necessary programs.
• Operate within the established travel and expense budget.
• Conduct onsite sales presentations for qualified prospects and evaluate opportunities for pharmacy new-business or improvements.
• Collaborate with Alternate Site Solutions marketing, education, and leadership to enhance customer improvements focused on financial enhancement, operational efficiency, and patient-centered care.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• An advanced degree in business and/or healthcare is highly preferred.
• Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience; fewer years may be acceptable with a Master's or Doctorate qualifications.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience.
• Previous experience in sales management and/or customer management.
• Recognized as an expert in McKesson-type products and services.
• Experience within the alternate site pharmacy segment of healthcare.
• Prior sales leadership experience is an advantage.
• Proven track record of success in sales and sales leadership.
• Formal knowledge and background in the institutional closed-door pharmacy market segment.
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid billing as it pertains to alternate site pharmacies.
• Sales management expertise and understanding of pricing models.
• Knowledge of GPOs and retail buying groups.
• Ability to navigate a highly complex organization.
• Customer-centric mindset with significant understanding of customer-facing responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel 70%+ to customer/prospect sites and McKesson locations, including overnight travel as necessary.
