This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver cardiovascular consulting services to both members and non-member cardiovascular programs, industry partners, and various cardiovascular stakeholders throughout North America and internationally.

• Assist in establishing vision and strategic planning.

• Provide guidance on governance and leadership matters.

• Aid in the development of service lines and operations for inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory care.

• Spearhead clinical integration and standardization efforts.

• Create and enhance specialty clinics and new programs.

• Support workforce planning and talent development.

• Offer advice on provider compensation structures.

• Formulate strategies for physician and hospital integration and alignment.

• Develop co-management agreements.

• Evaluate, optimize, and establish catheterization labs, ambulatory surgery centers, and office-based labs.

• Contribute to population health initiatives and risk contracting projects.

• Produce written and electronic materials utilizing internal MedAxiom and American College of Cardiology resources.

• Deliver presentations and speak to both large and small audiences.

• Engage in business development activities on behalf of MedAxiom.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree or higher is required.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 2 years in an administrative and/or leadership capacity.

• Capability to adapt to changing environments, foster collaborative relationships, and adjust priorities as necessary.

• Proven ability to deliver results in a complex, matrixed organization.

• Strong track record in developing business plans and meeting revenue objectives.

• Demonstrated success in building professional relationships and excelling in collaboration, communication, and program management.

• Exceptional analytical, written, verbal, presentation, and organizational abilities.

• Sound judgment and decision-making skills.

• Proficiency in managing sensitive issues with professionalism and initiating new initiatives.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented and fast-paced setting.

• Capacity for innovative thought and creative strategic planning.

• Ability to manage personal schedule, including travel, with a willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.

• Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and change management methodologies.

• Experience in supporting cardiovascular strategic planning, network development, or optimizing access and capacity.

• Knowledge of value-based care models, care coordination, and population health strategies in cardiology.

• An Advanced Practice Provider degree is required (NP, PA, CNS, or equivalent).

• Current or previous clinical practice experience in cardiovascular care is essential.

• Progressive leadership experience in driving team-based care initiatives involving APPs, physicians, nursing, and operational partners.

• Proven success in leading care model transformations within a health system cardiovascular program, private cardiovascular group, integrated delivery network, or academic medical center.

• Cardiovascular clinical expertise coupled with real-world operational insights.

• Leadership in designing and implementing team-based care.

• Development of APP workforce strategies, optimization, and governance.

• Executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders.

• Discipline in consulting delivery.
