This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provides technical, operational, and collateral-tracking assistance for activities related to Mortgage Specialty Finance, including conversions of lending platform systems, financing transactions, and the management of ongoing portfolios.
• Rigorously complies with Bank Secrecy Act regulations and implements organizational policies and procedures in all tasks.
• Delivers operational and technical support for specialty mortgage finance transactions, which encompass MSR financing, servicing advances, EBO, and various structured mortgage finance products.
• Leads and facilitates the conversion and implementation of the specialty mortgage finance lending platform, including gathering requirements, redesigning processes, conducting user acceptance testing, validating data migration, and maintaining the system post-conversion.
• Collaborates with IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure the lending platform effectively manages collateral tracking, reporting, advance mechanics, and funding workflows.
• Manages collateral tracking and reporting to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery to both internal stakeholders and external financing partners.
• Serves as an operational liaison between internal teams (Business Development, Credit, Treasury, Compliance, and IT) and external parties to streamline transaction execution and ongoing portfolio management.
• Creates, documents, and maintains operational workflows, procedures, and controls to facilitate scalable growth, platform functionality, and regulatory compliance.
• Identifies process deficiencies, system constraints, and operational risks while recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, controls, automation, and data integrity.
• Assists with audits, examinations, due diligence requests, and internal assessments relating to specialty mortgage finance operations and systems.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Mortgage Warehouse, MSR financing, or a similar role is required.
• Experience in banking compliance or risk management is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent education and relevant training or experience is required.
• Proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of banking policies, procedures, products, and services is necessary.
• Ability to effectively and persuasively communicate using professional language and grammar.
• Capable of planning, scheduling, and organizing professional responsibilities to meet goals within or ahead of established timelines.
• Demonstrates a high level of interactive service, building relationships and addressing identified needs.
• Shows commitment to quality customer service and the ability to meet or exceed service objectives.
• Ability to analyze and document detailed information.
• Proficient in researching, analyzing, identifying viable options, drawing sound conclusions, presenting findings, and making thoughtful recommendations considering overall risk and both short-term and long-term impacts.
