This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and take ownership of a multi-year strategy for AI-driven marketing operations, aligned with revenue objectives and approved at the executive level.
• Establish benchmarks for what defines a production-ready agent at Sidetrade, including evaluation frameworks, guardrails, observability, and criteria for retirement.
• Provide guidance to the CMO and CEO regarding emerging AI technologies and their potential impact on pipeline and revenue.
• Oversee the implementation of production agents for lead scoring, enrichment, MQL handoff, prospection, and revenue attribution, in collaboration with Sales, BDRs, and Demand Generation.
• Replace a minimum of five manual marketing workflows with production agents within the first 18 months, ensuring documented time savings and quality parity or improvement.
• Manage prompt libraries, tool specifications, and evaluation frameworks that dictate agent quality across the team.
• Establish and maintain the observability layer, measuring cost per task, accuracy, drift, and human escalation rates.
• Present the performance metrics of the agentic layer to the executive team on a monthly basis and to the board quarterly.
• Measure and quantify pipeline and revenue influenced by AI-driven workflows; be prepared to defend the figures.
• Oversee and manage the Martech stack, including Marketo, Salesforce, Salesloft, 6Sense, ZoomInfo, Cognism, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LetSignIt, Asana, Kinsta, GoToWebinar, Wistia, Google GTM, Search Console, Analytics, Ads, Zapier, and Proofjump.
• Reduce the stack by at least 25% in terms of cost or tool count within the first 18 months while demonstrating measurable value.
• Assess, onboard, and phase out vendors, holding final approval authority on Martech investments.
• Provide training and support to marketing and sales personnel in collaboration with department leaders.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a team of marketing engineers and operations specialists.
• Define roles, establish standards, and foster a culture of measurement and ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to ensure alignment of shared infrastructure and tools.
• 12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a minimum of 4 years in a senior leadership position responsible for technology and operations.
• Proven success in delivering production AI-driven workflows or agents that are integral to real users and revenue processes; sandbox demos are not considered sufficient.
• Strong expertise in Marketo, HubSpot, or Pardot, along with Salesforce, having managed these platforms at scale.
• Proficient in using n8n, Make, or Zapier for creating multi-step flows, handling errors, and integrating APIs without writing production code from scratch.
• Advanced understanding of LLM tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar): prompt design, AI-in-workflow architecture, and sound judgment regarding reliability limits.
• Capable of defining project scopes for engineering teams, providing clear specifications, and validating outputs; fluent in reading JSON and API documentation.
• Demonstrated experience in board-level reporting on marketing technology performance and ROI.
• Excellent communication skills: able to translate complex agentic concepts into commercial outcomes for executive and investor audiences.
