VP, Investor Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and oversee Rackspace Technology's Investor Relations strategy, ensuring it aligns with the Company's business goals and long-term value creation plan.

• Direct the strategic planning and continual enhancement of all Investor Relations initiatives that boost Rackspace Technology's standing and credibility in the investment sector.

• Act as a strategic consultant to the CEO, CFO, and Executive Leadership Team by delivering market intelligence, investor insights, and perspectives on industry and competitive trends.

• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, investment experts, and current and prospective shareholders.

• Manage communications and information flow with Wall Street firms that cover Rackspace Technology, ensuring analysts are well-informed about publicly disclosed business updates and strategic plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Communications, or a related area.

• At least 10 years of experience in a public-facing role for a publicly traded company or an investment firm, showcasing expertise in Investor Relations, capital markets, corporate finance, or financial communications.

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience, including developing strategies, leading teams, and collaborating with executive leadership.

• Proven experience in building and managing relationships with institutional investors, financial analysts, investment professionals, and shareholders.

• Demonstrated experience in leading quarterly earnings communications, investor presentations, analyst engagements, roadshows, and other capital markets communications.

• Strong knowledge of SEC disclosure requirements, public company reporting, Regulation FD, and corporate governance standards.

• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.

• Robust financial, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to interpret market trends, investor sentiment, and competitive dynamics.
