This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and lead the medical affairs organization and its initiatives.
• Plan, manage, and direct all facets of global medical affairs activities for both investigational and marketed products.
• Offer leadership, strategic guidance, and mentorship to direct reports and the wider Medical organization.
• Cultivate and sustain comprehensive knowledge regarding products and pertinent therapeutic areas.
• Provide expert medical and scientific counsel for products and associated therapeutic domains.
• Present scientific information and conduct medical education programs for healthcare professionals.
• Design and execute clinical research projects within established standards and budgetary constraints.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant national laws, regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, policies, and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree with over 20 years of experience; Master’s degree with over 15 years; or PhD with at least 10 years of experience.
• Demonstrated strategic management experience showcasing business acumen.
• At least 15 years of pertinent experience in the life sciences sector, including 7 years in medical affairs leadership.
• Extensive experience in clinical areas, particularly in Oncology (Solid Tumor) and Rare Disease.
• Proven success in managing multiple product launches and life cycle management.
• Strong understanding of the global healthcare system, including the legal and regulatory landscape.
• A confident leader with a proven ability to challenge established norms.
