This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Account Executives responsible for a national territory that includes regional banks, credit unions, and select financial services, fintech, and insurance accounts.
• Assess the territory and market potential to devise sales strategies aimed at maximizing revenue opportunities, focusing on installed-base expansion, retention, renewals, and targeted new business.
• Meet established sales targets and deliver outcomes within the quarterly timeline.
• Take a hands-on approach by engaging directly with customer executives on strategic initiatives, demonstrating value-based selling for the team, and personally championing key expansion deals.
• Promote UiPath's brand within the regional banking and credit union sectors by presenting, advocating, and selling our solutions using a value selling method, including participation in industry associations and events.
• Inform customers about how our solutions can provide financial and professional advantages, creating business cases tailored for financial decision-makers in a risk-sensitive, regulated environment.
• Build, nurture, and sustain positive business and customer relationships across multiple buying centers in the territory, including COO, CIO, Heads of Operations and Lending, and compliance/BSA-AML leaders.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with local partners, core and digital banking platform providers, and global systems integrators to identify new opportunities and ensure successful customer implementations.
• Collaborate with the Customer Success Management (CSM) team to guarantee that customers gain maximum value and to quickly address any issues that arise.
• Keep track of industry competitors, emerging products, and market conditions to better understand customer needs.
• Provide management with reports detailing customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Proven track record of success in selling to regional banks, credit unions, or the broader regulated financial institution market, with a well-established network and reputation in the community financial institution space.
• Experience in first-line sales management or demonstrated readiness for a first leadership position as a top-performing strategic Account Executive with a history of growing a regional banking and credit union territory.
• In-depth understanding of the operations of community and regional financial institutions, including regulatory pressures, board-level decision-making, resource-constrained IT organizations, and core-vendor relationships.
• Ability to sell to financial buyers based on value and business cases rather than merely features and functions, with consultative selling experience targeting operations and compliance buyers.
• Proven success in installed-base expansion and renewals, rather than just acquiring new logos.
• Strong capacity to navigate client organizations and establish key contacts across various departments and levels of leadership, from operational leaders to the C-suite.
• Proficiency in articulating new and complex concepts - such as AI and automation - in a clear and engaging manner that fosters a strong desire for the solution.
• High aptitude for cross-functional collaboration and influence, both internally and externally, including within partner and systems integrator ecosystems.
• Possess a research-driven and data-oriented approach to account planning, with the capability to proactively identify opportunities from business-led discussions.
• Highly developed critical thinking skills to address customer challenges and facilitate deal closures in the face of obstacles.
