This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop and implement a strategic business plan to enhance the utilization of RailPros’ services within the freight railroad sector.
• Build, nurture, and sustain positive relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within the assigned client(s).
• Maintain a strong presence in the field by engaging with representatives at job sites and field offices.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing the customer experience and collaborate with RailPros staff to align service, communication, and technology strategies to achieve our Service Excellence objective.
• Recognize revenue opportunities within the assigned client(s) and contribute to the development of solutions that align with our current or new service offerings.
• Serve as a liaison for communication between client(s) and RailPros, both internally and externally.
• Support the development of new flagging projects and/or other service offerings, which may include project development, communication strategies, pilot programs, and addressing service-related issues.
• Coordinate and create marketing and advertising campaigns tailored to client requirements.
• Engage in the creation and presentation of marketing materials to key client stakeholders.
• Assist in identifying and resolving any service-related concerns or issues.
• Ensure that reporting and communication are consistent and two-way between the client and RailPros teams.
• Participate in industry events to attract new clients and strengthen relationships with existing ones.
• Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business objectives.
• Established relationships with management-level peers at BNSF in the Engineering and Procurement divisions.
• In-depth knowledge of BNSF engineering services, both internal and contracted.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficient in the use of computers, email, and other software typically used for creating presentations and promotional materials.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential materials and information with discretion.
• Strong skills in presenting and conveying new concepts and methods.
• A minimum of 10 years of direct experience with the Engineering and Procurement departments at BNSF, along with a robust network within the company and the industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
