This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Strategize, implement, and execute sales initiatives, utilizing market insights and expertise to effectively communicate the product's value proposition and positioning within the International Civilian sector.
• Inspire, nurture, and expand a team of sales professionals while fostering a culture focused on delivering value to Global Civilian governmental organizations.
• Establish and sustain high-level relationships with key potential customers, channel partners, and organizational leaders.
• Oversee client missions and operational procedures, identifying opportunities to integrate Dataminr into client workflows and recommending best practices.
• Navigate procurement processes and cycles, engaging with senior executives across governmental bodies and other agencies.
• Mentor sales representatives through intricate sales processes, ensuring a consultative sales approach.
• Drive business development and provide thought leadership through opportunity identification to expand new business, enhancing capabilities and achieving incremental business success.
• Lead and offer market expertise to sales teams, acting as a subject matter expert throughout the entire sales cycle.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations, Marketing, and Product, to enhance operational and product efficiencies.
• Maintain ongoing awareness of market trends and competitive activities, making strategic and tactical sales recommendations to consistently stay ahead.
• Ensure high-quality data management with accurate and up-to-date forecasting of the sales pipeline in SFDC.
• 10+ years of demonstrated International Civilian Government sales experience, with a focus on leading and scaling teams that sell to and support Public Sector Customers.
• Familiarity with publicly available information is preferred, along with a general understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
• Significant experience in successfully selling to International Civilian clients, with a proven track record in negotiation and closing deals.
• Comprehensive knowledge of structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Shipley, Miller Heiman).
• Strong solution-selling capabilities, able to comprehend and illustrate value from the customer's viewpoint and align Dataminr products accordingly.
• Proven achievement of revenue goals and business objectives while formulating and executing a strategic business plan.
• Ideally, experience in enterprise software and/or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Established success as a sales leader.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with intellectual curiosity, capable of instilling confidence in the market and motivating their teams.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and influence without formal authority.
