SVP, Senior Credit Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create, update, and maintain the overall Credit Policy of the Bank.

• Act as the main subject matter expert regarding all aspects of credit policy.

• Assess and authorize intricate commercial credit applications.

• Work together with relationship managers to devise financing solutions.

• Supervise the continuous monitoring and management of the commercial loan portfolio.

• Generate credit reports and portfolio analytics for the Board Credit Committee.

• Serve as the lending subject matter expert for essential lending technology platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in commercial credit.

• Proficient in various loan types such as CRE, C&I, ABL, or similar.

• Demonstrated expertise in credit policy formulation, credit administration, and portfolio oversight.

• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to evaluate complex financial data.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an MBA or graduate degree is preferred.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in core lending and credit systems (for example, nCino, eLoans).
