VP Freight Analytics – Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

• Market Intelligence: Act as the commercial and analytical representative of our data.

• Strategic Vision: Advocate for and develop DAT’s analytics strategy and business model.

• Customer Ownership: Drive enterprise customer engagement initiatives.

• Team Leadership: Establish and expand our analytical advisory team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Freight pricing or analytics background: Over 15 years of experience in pricing or analytics within brokerage, procurement, or both; fluent in the customer’s perspective from the inside.

• Team builder: Experienced in designing, hiring, and scaling an analytically-driven team.

• Commercial presence: At ease in VP/C-suite discussions; adept at navigating complex enterprise relationships and high-stakes RFPs.

• Quantitative depth: Expertise in rate forecasting, statistical modeling, and time-series analysis.

• Cross-functional influence: Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and foster alignment across diverse teams.

• Pricing instinct: A natural collaborator on data product pricing and packaging; a background as a data buyer is advantageous.
