VP Freight Analytics – Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

• Market Intelligence: Act as the commercial and analytical representative of our data.

• Strategic Vision: Advocate for and develop DAT’s analytics strategy and operations.

• Customer Ownership: Direct enterprise customer engagement initiatives.

• Team Leadership: Create and expand our analytical advisory team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Freight pricing or analytics background: Over 15 years of experience in pricing or analytics within brokerage, procurement, or a combination of both; fluency in the customer’s terminology.

• Team builder: Proven experience in designing, hiring, and expanding an analytically-oriented team.

• Commercial presence: Comfortable engaging in discussions at the VP/C-suite level; adept at managing complex enterprise relationships and high-stakes RFPs.

• Quantitative depth: Expertise in rate forecasting, statistical modeling, and time-series analysis.

• Cross-functional influence: Demonstrated capability to influence without direct authority and foster alignment across diverse teams.

• Pricing instinct: An intuitive partner in data product pricing and packaging; a background in data purchasing is advantageous.
