This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide executive and financial leadership across teams supporting the President of Enterprise Growth.
• Lead and develop teams consisting of approximately 25+ full-time employees (FTE).
• Drive outcomes and ensure accountability for budgets totaling approximately $5B in Marketing, Commissions, and Other Operational Costs.
• Deliver both short-term and long-term financial planning as well as growth insights.
• Act as a strategic enabler and thought partner for new initiatives and assess their impact.
• Assume full financial responsibility for IFG, MarketPoint, Field Sales, Agnostic Call Center, and the buildout of the Digital Agnostic business.
• Oversee forecasting, budget development, variance analysis, and five-year planning for Enterprise Growth.
• Construct financial analytics including Next Best Action marketing, Lifetime Value modeling, NPV, and ROI analyses.
• Assess the distribution channel mix and profitability.
• Develop NPV models across various segments, distribution channels, products, and other cohorts.
• Evaluate the returns on technology investments.
• Prepare and present financial findings while tracking investment decision results.
• Generate reports and conduct ad-hoc business analyses.
• Facilitate data-driven trade-off discussions between Insurance and CenterWell.
• Build relationships with operational executives and create analytics to optimize marketing and distribution expenditures.
• Develop business cases for test-and-learn initiatives, monitor performance, and recommend subsequent steps.
• Regularly present financial analytics and recommendations to the President of Enterprise Growth, CFO, Corporate Strategy, CIO, and CEO.
• Verify and analyze financial information, trends in marketing/distribution spending, and economic indicators for strategic and operational decision-making.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in financial leadership.
• Hands-on financial experience in a large-cap operational/business-partnering finance role.
• Experience managing functional budgets, ideally including Marketing budgets.
• Proficient in Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Experience in financial modeling.
• Knowledge of marketing returns.
• Actuarial and/or accounting experience is advantageous.
• Experience leading a global function or P&L within a Fortune 500 company.
• Ability to connect various aspects, drive storytelling, present effectively, and support decision-making.
• Capacity to transition between detailed analysis and strategic foresight regarding questions/issues.
• Proven ability to build and lead a team while developing organizational talent.
• Strong inclination for change with a history of driving transformation and implementing best practices.
• Innovative mindset with a drive to challenge the status quo.
• Demonstrated resilience in managing change and transformation.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex data-related challenges.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Executive presence for engaging with senior and executive audiences.
• Recent experience in a large, highly matrixed organization, such as a Fortune 150 company.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and stakeholders within a highly matrixed environment.
• Highly collaborative relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders and subject-matter experts.
• An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• CPA, MBA, or Actuarial certification is a plus but not mandatory.
• Must have remote-work internet service with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• Dedicated workspace that is free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
