This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and cultivate the national financial analytics team, which includes mentoring, organizing, and expanding talent.
• Define the progression of financial models and tools in accordance with advancing PBM pricing frameworks.
• Foster innovation in financial analytics and improve proprietary tools for insights, automation, and scalability.
• Act as a senior subject matter expert on PBM financial frameworks, contract terms, and pricing mechanisms.
• Assist with intricate client interactions and negotiations.
• Collaborate with divisional leadership, client engagement, and product teams to create integrated solutions and enhance operational efficiencies.
• Provide strategic oversight for financial deliverables associated with client projects.
• Direct complex financial analyses related to PBM contracts, pricing guarantees, rebate structures, and total cost of care assessments.
• Participate in internal strategy discussions and provide external insights on pharmacy benefit trends.
• Promote process standardization, governance, workflow enhancements, and quality assurance.
• Take ownership of pharmacy trend assumptions and actuarial forecasting methodologies, integrating market dynamics, utilization shifts, inflation, specialty drug pipeline developments, biosimilar adoption, and evolving PBM contracting frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, actuarial science, or a related analytical field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
• Actuarial designation (ASA, FSA, MAAA) preferred, or equivalent experience in developing actuarial-based forecasting methodologies within healthcare, pharmacy benefits, or similar sectors.
• Over 10 years of experience in pharmacy benefit consulting, PBM financial analysis, or related roles in healthcare financial strategy.
• Extensive knowledge of PBM financial models, pricing frameworks, contract terms, and industry trends.
• Strong actuarial and forecasting skills with experience in developing utilization, cost, rebate, and specialty trend assumptions for healthcare or pharmacy financial models.
• Experience in designing or enhancing proprietary analytics platforms.
• Awareness of emerging pharmacy benefit trends, including specialty drug management, biosimilars, and alternative funding programs.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing analytics or consulting teams.
• Strong strategic thinking abilities with the capability to translate complex market dynamics into actionable business strategies.
• Advanced technical skills in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience handling large datasets, pharmacy and medical claims data, and relational databases.
