VP, Cyber Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze market trends and the technical landscape of Cyber and Cyberspace Operations within the DOD, Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, while effectively communicating By Light’s value proposition to these clients.

• Build and nurture strong relationships with key Cyber clients, focusing on the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Combatant Commands, and service Cyber components.

• Implement and manage customer call strategies.

• Convert customer intelligence into persuasive solutions.

• Collect, evaluate, and confirm customer needs, challenges, and risks.

• Create value propositions and identify/develop early win strategies.

• Formulate and implement capture plans.

• Oversee all phases of an opportunity from identification to proposal submission.

• Collaborate with Account Leads, Project Managers, and Subject Matter Experts across the organization to leverage the full capabilities of the company for success.

• Organize and engage in white papers, RFIs, sources sought, workshops, industry events, opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, collaboration sessions, and proposal color team reviews.

• Design, organize, and conduct account planning, capture, and opportunity execution activities, which include assembling industry teams, evaluating win probability, and executing customer call plans.

• Comprehend Government Acquisition processes and standard contract types.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong existing relationships within the US Federal Cyber marketplace are essential.

• A minimum of ten years of experience in Business Development and/or Federal Capture.

• A proven history of developing, capturing, and securing large federal opportunities.

• Experience in advancing an opportunity through standard Gate Reviews and leading information gathering to further develop opportunities.

• Familiarity with Information Technologies currently being implemented in the Federal Space, including Cloud migration and operations, Agile Development, Infrastructure modernization, and Cyber Security.

• A comprehensive understanding of Cyberspace doctrine, directives, and strategies.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
