This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Lead the strategy, execution, and operational excellence of Valeris’ Design & Implementation programs.
• Ensure client solutions are scalable, operationally excellent, regulatory-compliant, profitable, and deliver an outstanding stakeholder experience from contract award to operational handoff.
• Serve as a liaison among Commercial, Product, Technology, Patient Support Operations, Client Services, and Executive Leadership.
• Develop the long-term vision, operational model, governance, and program capabilities to ensure consistent implementation of Valeris products and services.
• Recruit, coach, mentor, and guide patient support Designers.
• Supervise client implementation activities, including solution architecture, executive guidance, implementation strategy, launch readiness, and operational transition.
• Create standard processes, governance frameworks, design principles, best practices, lessons learned, implementation playbooks, templates, and reusable assets.
• Collaborate with Commercial during business development, client meetings, strategy and design sessions, bid defenses, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Formulate implementation strategies, timelines, and resource allocations for client budgets.
• Establish trusted relationships with clients and influence senior executives and cross-functional leaders.
• Partner with Operations, Project Management, Information Technology, Product Management, and other workstream leaders to deliver integrated patient support solutions.
• Ensure operational readiness through comprehensive testing and align architecture across CRM, portals, websites, and text messaging technology teams.
• Monitor risks and dependencies while developing mitigation plans.
• Adhere to security, privacy, regulatory, enterprise, documentation, and stakeholder sign-off standards.
• Promote continuous improvement, organizational transformation, and the expansion of new services.
• Represent Valeris at industry conferences, advisory boards, executive forums, and customer events.
• Keep abreast of commercialization trends and translate market intelligence into program or enterprise strategies.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process for the department.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical commercialization, patient services, reimbursement support, or related fields.
• At least 10 years of experience leading large cross-functional implementations or managing a patient support operations organization.
• Extensive understanding of patient support services, HUB operations, reimbursement support, copay administration, specialty pharmacy, and commercialization services.
• Demonstrated experience in building scalable operational organizations and managing enterprise portfolios and budgets within patient support services.
• Proven expertise in leadership, patient support design, and operational transformation, with a successful track record in leading large-scale strategic initiatives.
• Strong commercial, financial, and business acumen.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Attendance at industry conferences and other relevant events as necessary.
• Experience supporting Fortune 500 pharmaceutical manufacturers in patient support services or similar sectors is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• Proven success in building high-performing leadership teams is preferred.
• Experience in influencing both internal and external executive leadership.
• A history of building and managing high-performing teams is essential.
• Demonstrated success leading organizations and teams through growth and transformation.
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy is preferred.
• Flexibility to travel as required is preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check and, depending on the position, a drug screen is necessary.
