This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the business development strategy that aligns with the company's objectives, encompassing market analysis, identification of target clients, and competitive positioning.
• Discover new business opportunities within both established and emerging markets.
• Propel strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances to enhance company growth and expansion.
• Set and achieve revenue and growth targets, consistently meeting the company's growth objectives.
• Oversee the complete sales process, from lead generation through to deal closure.
• Enhance existing provider partnerships to boost membership growth.
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance visibility and strengthen market positioning.
• Lead negotiations and structure complex agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company while nurturing strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts and agreements.
• Conduct due diligence processes for M&A, partnerships, and more.
• Identify and spearhead business development initiatives in new geographic areas.
• Explore innovative opportunities for expansion within existing markets by forging creative partnerships with providers and community organizations.
• Utilize market intelligence to guide expansion strategies and tactics aimed at driving growth.
• Work alongside Strategy team members to design attractive products for potential partners.
• Collaborate effectively across the organization and utilize internal and external relationships to achieve organizational goals.
• Perform additional related responsibilities as required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field is mandatory; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales within the healthcare sector, with proven experience engaging with health systems is essential.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, with the possibility of increased travel as necessary.
• A demonstrated history of closely collaborating with health systems to manage large-scale transition efforts, enter new markets, or expand existing ones while growing the business footprint under their leadership.
• Proven ability to develop and execute highly complex, personalized, and innovative value-based care contracts.
• Demonstrated expertise in the value proposition of innovative, risk-based reimbursement models, with the ability to advocate for the financial incentives and enhanced quality of care provided to relevant populations.
• Proficient in leveraging a data and metrics-driven approach to analyze and monitor performance.
• Strong background in market research, strategic planning, and client relationship management.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
