Visiting Professor – Project Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Instruct both undergraduate and graduate courses in Project Management in accordance with DeVry University standards.

• Enhance student learning through a practitioner-oriented educational approach.

• Create course syllabi and lesson plans that align with both course and program objectives.

• Organize, prepare, revise, and refresh course materials as necessary.

• Utilize online technologies and course-related software such as websites, email, and online discussions.

• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication to engage students and enhance learning outcomes.

• Establish course expectations, terminal objectives, assignment and examination schedules, and evaluation criteria.

• Ensure that exams are in alignment with course terminal objectives.

• Consistently and fairly prepare and grade examinations.

• Provide prompt feedback to students.

• Incorporate responsible AI technologies to improve teaching and learning experiences.

• Identify, assess, and manage both appropriate and inappropriate use of AI tools by students.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Doctorate in the relevant subject area, or a doctoral degree in a related discipline with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the subject matter.

• Unofficial graduate-level transcripts must be submitted with the application.

• The degree must be conferred by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or an equivalent internationally accredited institution.

• Additional requirements may be dictated by state licensing or accreditation standards.

• Expertise in the requisite subject matter is essential.

• Exceptional communication abilities are required.

• A commitment to continuous professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices.
