This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Deliver student-focused, IEP-aligned virtual speech therapy sessions.
• Execute thorough speech-language assessments utilizing Parallel’s proprietary Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, oversee, and enhance Individualized Education Programs.
• Engage in IEP meetings and provide dedicated case management for “Speech Only” students as needed.
• Methodically track session data and student progress to provide valuable IEP consultations.
• Create comprehensive, goal-oriented progress reports for each reporting cycle.
• Offer specialized state-specific services, including AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.
• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Current SLP license in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 1 year of full-time school-based experience providing IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY); 2+ years of experience is preferred for case management roles.
• Proven expertise in the IEP process, educational eligibility evaluations, and composing comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Prior experience with Medicaid billing systems is highly beneficial.
• Outstanding communication abilities and capacity to establish rapport with students from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Technologically adept, with competence in virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.
• Availability during standard school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).
• Multilingual proficiency is a significant advantage.
