This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Provide proactive guidance curriculum to both individuals and groups.

• Address the needs of individuals and groups through responsive counseling and programming.

• Evaluate transfer student transcripts and communicate appropriate course placements.

• Maintain and review transcripts for current students while informing credit award procedures.

• Develop and uphold student graduation plans.

• Deliver career readiness curriculum and assist in the development of career plans.

• Implement Social-Emotional Learning curriculum.

• Establish and manage Student 504 plans.

• Analyze student data to offer insights on suitable academic programs and interventions.

• Travel within Colorado as necessary to support testing initiatives and school events.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Collaborate with staff members and families to enhance student-specific academic programming and support student success.


⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Colorado Counselor license.

• Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of prior experience in counseling and/or advisement, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Familiarity with the ASCA model.

• Experience in K-12 online learning environments.

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, as well as mandated reporting requirements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.

• Capable of handling confidential information responsibly while maintaining confidentiality.

• Skilled in managing challenging or emotional situations and making evidence-based decisions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to perform under pressure, prioritize, and execute tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Capable of passing federal and state criminal background checks.
