This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a reliable resource to clarify University policies, Financial Aid guidelines, and Title IV regulations.
• Offer tailored, student-focused assistance to help learners remain on course.
• Oversee a student caseload through proactive outreach.
• Manage student Accounts Receivable, encompassing document collection, student payments, and financial aid.
• Supervise and facilitate the collection and submission of vouchers for processing.
• Direct students to the appropriate departments and campus resources.
• Navigate various systems and reports to ensure efficient student support.
• Interact with students through phone, email, video, and chat.
• Address escalated student issues and provide effective solutions.
• Implement outreach and communication strategies to foster engagement and student success.
• Track academic progress, identify at-risk groups, and offer solutions to support program completion.
• Utilize coaching techniques to cultivate relationships and encourage students toward graduation.
• Present innovative ideas and resources to enhance student satisfaction, persistence, and achievement.
• Collaborate with various departments to create a cohesive student experience.
• Share University updates, support departmental initiatives, and contribute to special projects.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in recruiting, advising, student services, retention, academic counseling, marketing, educational services, or customer service is required.
• Experience in a fast-paced, student- or customer-oriented environment is preferred.
• A background in academic advising and course enrollment within a college or university is preferred.
• Experience supporting online students is preferred.
• Familiarity with Financial Aid or Title IX regulations is preferred.
• Experience in interpreting and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and guidelines is preferred.
• Background in higher education and technology-driven settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of academic and business practices within an online learning environment.
• Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
• A robust customer service orientation and a commitment to helping students succeed.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.
• Exceptional communication and active listening skills.
• Proficient in de-escalating and resolving student concerns.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Possess creative and logical problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using word processing tools, databases, internet navigation, SMS, live chat, and email systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Strong work ethic, flexibility, dependability, and a collaborative attitude.
• Ability to seek guidance or escalate issues appropriately.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Open to feedback, coaching, and adapting to change.
• Capability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to establish personal goals that align with the university’s mission, vision, and objectives.
• Must be eligible for access to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS).
