This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming telephone, text, and chat inquiries, conducting assessments and delivering immediate psychosocial support, evidence-based information, and brief interventions.

• Inform help-seekers about available perinatal mental health resources and services.

• Direct help-seekers to suitable services and resources from approved directories.

• Keep thorough, accurate, and timely real-time case documentation in Salesforce.

• Ensure that documentation complies with established policies and procedures.

• Maintain a professional demeanor in virtual workspaces and communication platforms.

• Engage and interact with the remote team, utilizing Slack and other designated communication tools while on duty.

• Safeguard the privacy and confidentiality of each help-seeker and their information.

• Attend and contribute to scheduled meetings, training sessions, and development activities related to the Hotline project.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficiency in Spanish is essential.

• Must hold a license as a Mental Health Clinician, a Licensed Healthcare Professional with maternal and child health experience, or be a National/State-Certified Doula, Lactation Consultant, Childbirth Educator, or Peer Specialist.

• Minimum of two years of experience working with the maternal and child health population.

• Professional liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate is required.

• Competence in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, internet browsers, and search directories.

• Ability to manage conflicts and tolerate distress while assisting help-seekers.

• Capability to multitask and handle unpredictable and high-acuity mental health contacts.

• Must be able to work independently and complete tasks according to established guidelines and practices.

• Adaptability to immediate changes in policies, procedures, processes, and guidance is necessary.

• Must successfully complete a Non-Sensitive Tier II - Moderate Check and Clearance background check administered by HHS.

• Completion of all mandatory training is required.

• Commitment to the vision and mission of Postpartum Support International.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection with the ability to maintain required speeds.

• A quiet and secure office space to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

• Ability to safely and effectively perform essential job functions and meet productivity standards.

• Regular ability to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear; extensive computer usage necessitates hand dexterity and the ability to read from a computer screen.
