This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable resource for explaining University policies, Financial Aid guidelines, and Title IV regulations.

• Deliver tailored, student-focused assistance to ensure learners remain on their educational path.

• Oversee a caseload of students using sound judgment and proactive communication strategies.

• Manage student Accounts Receivable, encompassing document collection, payments, and financial aid processes.

• Track and facilitate the collection and submission of vouchers.

• Direct students to the appropriate departments and campus resources as necessary.

• Navigate various systems and reports to provide uninterrupted support.

• Engage with students via phone, email, video, and chat platforms.

• Address escalated student issues and transform challenges into effective solutions.

• Implement outreach and communication strategies to enhance engagement and promote student success.

• Monitor academic progress, identify at-risk students, and propose solutions.

• Utilize coaching techniques to foster relationships and encourage students towards graduation.

• Suggest ideas and resources aimed at boosting student satisfaction, persistence, and achievement.

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure a cohesive student experience.

• Share University updates and support departmental initiatives and special projects.

• Maintain consistent and dependable attendance.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in recruiting, advising, student services, retention, academic counseling, marketing, educational services, or customer service is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, though not mandatory.

• Experience in a dynamic, student- or customer-oriented environment is preferred.

• Background in academic advising and course enrollment within a college or university context is preferred.

• Experience assisting online students is preferred.

• Familiarity with Financial Aid or Title IX regulations is preferred.

• Experience in interpreting and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and guidelines is preferred.

• Background in higher education and technology-driven environments is preferred.

• Strong understanding of academic and business practices in an online learning context.

• Acquaintance with University policies and procedures.

• A strong customer service orientation and commitment to helping students succeed.

• Excellent communication and active listening abilities.

• Capability to de-escalate and resolve student concerns effectively.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Creative and analytical problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in using word processing software, databases, internet navigation, SMS, live chat, and email systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.

• Strong work ethic, adaptability, reliability, and a collaborative attitude.

• Ability to seek guidance or escalate issues when appropriate.

• Strong communication and public speaking skills.

• Receptiveness to feedback, coaching, and change.

• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Capacity to establish personal goals that align with the university’s mission, vision, and objectives.

• Must be eligible to access the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS).
