Virtual Sales Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Input pre-qualifications and applications into the Loan Origination system.

• Assess loan alternatives in collaboration with the Loan Consultant based on product and credit criteria.

• Recognize loan modifications and implement changes of circumstance within the loan origination system.

• Order, duplicate, and assemble all necessary file components in the loan package prior to processing.

• Manage customer expectations concerning rate inquiries, appointments, loan status, and other essential information.

• Confirm and participate in appointments while reviewing required application documents with clients.

• Act as a liaison among the Loan Consultant, Fulfillment, and Sales Support teams.

• Provide assistance in additional areas when required.

• Support the daily sales operations of Mortgage Loan Originators and several Mortgage Loan Officers.

• Oversee, track, and report risks while adhering to bank policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.

• At least one year of experience in customer service, mortgage processing, or loan originations.

• Comprehensive knowledge of residential mortgage loans.

• Proven proficiency in computer skills, particularly with Windows-based applications.

• Familiarity with federal lending regulations that govern residential real estate lending.

• Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and provide exceptional customer service.

• Capacity to analyze policies, procedures, and guidelines to enhance productivity while managing risk.

• Willingness to learn and apply guidelines for conventional, government, portfolio, and computer loan application systems.

• S.A.F.E. Act registration required upon employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
