This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Establish a career foundation in Cardiac Rhythm Management device sales through a two to three-year training program.
• Complete both clinical and technical training.
• Represent Medtronic during surgical procedures and product implants.
• Offer troubleshooting and technical support.
• Assist with device reprogramming, follow-ups, troubleshooting, and patient enrollments in hospitals and clinics.
• Provide on-call support for surgeries, reprogramming, troubleshooting, and follow-ups during evenings and weekends.
• Educate physicians and allied healthcare professionals on products and therapies.
• Train allied healthcare professionals and supply train-the-trainer resources.
• Finish the sales training process.
• Document implants, case details, Salesforce.com activity, and mStar activity.
• Update sales representatives regarding cases and promptly escalate issues that need follow-up.
• Act as a Medtronic representative to physicians and support staff.
• Manage inventories of consignment, trunk, district-office, and loaner products.
• Assist with product rotation and delivery.
• Encourage CareLink enrollments during implants.
• Request and secure purchase orders following implants.
• Conduct regular unsolicited outreach to hospitals and clinics.
• Keep up-to-date with Medtronic therapies, programs, products, services, and competitors.
• Maintain communication with Medtronic personnel and customers.
• Execute sales responsibilities for assigned accounts.
• Apply for open sales territories across the United States during the third year.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of experience in sales.
• Willingness to relocate for training and after the completion of the three-year training period.
• Ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Availability and willingness to work or travel on weekends and evenings.
• Capability to provide on-call support.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to transport products and equipment from a vehicle to a hospital.
• Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for more than eight hours a day.
• Capacity to travel extensively without difficulty.
• Willingness to drive approximately 80% of the time within the designated territory.
• Valid driver's license.
• Active vehicle insurance policy.
• Driving record is subject to review.
• Must reside within the assigned territory.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire and for the duration of employment.
• For candidates with foreign baccalaureate degrees, a degree that meets the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
