Virtual Physician Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide patient care through telehealth visits, encompassing phone triage calls, video consultations, and email follow-ups.

• Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and participate in ongoing educational activities.

• Collaborate with both virtual and in-office colleagues during daily huddles.

• Utilize clinical expertise to deliver outstanding virtual patient care.

• Offer evidence-based virtual medical services in collaboration with patients’ primary care providers.

• Assist in delivering 24/7, year-round virtual clinical care services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of a master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS).

• Active NCCPA certification required.

• At least 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practitioner in outpatient primary care or urgent care/emergency medicine within the last 5 years, treating patients of all ages.

• Current licensure in VA, DC, or MD, with the capability to obtain additional state licenses.

• For VA: independent practice is mandatory.

• Flexibility to work weekday and weekend shifts, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday.

• Availability for shifts between 6am–5pm ET, 11am–10pm ET, or 1pm–12am ET.

• Strong clinical and communication skills.

• Proficiency in evidence-based primary care practices.

• Competence in utilizing technology to provide high-quality care.

• Ability to engage with and care for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Skill in navigating uncertain situations with patients and colleagues.

• Willingness to adjust personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs.

• Authorization to work in the United States, confirmed through E-Verify.
