Virtual ICU Nocturnal Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert virtual care for patients in critical condition, particularly those with neurological issues.

• Assist Critical Care with an emphasis on Neuro Critical Care services.

• Virtually oversee the management of intricate neurological diseases and injuries.

• Work in partnership with intensivists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and advanced practice providers.

• Ensure outstanding patient outcomes throughout the Houston Methodist system.

• Operate within a physician-led academic health system.

• Maintain clinical independence while engaging in a collaborative and innovative atmosphere.

• Participate in patient care, research, and educational initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in Neurocritical care.

• Fellowship training in Neuro Critical Care is preferred.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurocritical Care is preferred.

• Possession of a Texas medical license or ability to obtain one.

• Previous Telehealth or Tele-ICU experience is preferred, though not mandatory.

• Dedication to clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-focused care.

• May necessitate travel within the Houston Metropolitan area.

• May involve travel outside the Houston Metropolitan area.

• May require being on-call during emergencies.

• Work schedule: 3 - Night (United States of America).
