Virtual High School Math Educator – SC Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Instruct high school mathematics, encompassing Discrete Math, Pre-Calculus, Geometry with Statistics, and Honors Geometry with Statistics.

• Deliver the school’s curriculum via the district's virtual platform.

• Create lesson plans that are in accordance with the class curriculum.

• Cultivate creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning atmosphere.

• Engage and support student learning through thoughtful, relationship-centered approaches.

• Monitor and record student grades and performance metrics.

• Attend district-led professional development workshops and faculty meetings.

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is physically present with students.

• Utilize the educator portal to select job opportunities that align with certification as they arise.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Currently possess an active teaching certification issued by a state in the USA.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator is required.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is necessary.

• Must have a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet connection.

• Willingness to participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration as part of the application process.

• A background check must be submitted as part of the application procedure.

• Previous experience in online teaching is advantageous.
