Virtual Family Nurse Practitioner – CA Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide patient care through telehealth encounters, which include telephonic triage calls, video appointments, and email follow-ups.

• Engage in ongoing education during weekly Clinical Rounds and through various learning methods.

• Work collaboratively with both virtual and in-office colleagues during daily huddles.

• Utilize specialized clinical training to deliver outstanding virtual patient care.

• Acquire additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical's virtual primary care services in other states.

• Deliver evidence-based virtual medical care in conjunction with primary care providers.

• Serve patients of all ages and ensure care availability around the clock, 365 days a year.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully completed an accredited FNP program and hold a national certification.

• Have practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least 2 years in an outpatient primary care environment or 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting within the last 5 years, treating patients of all ages (0+).

• Possess a current license in CA with the capability to secure additional state licenses.

• 103 or 104 certification is highly preferred; a willingness to obtain it is required.

• Availability to work weekday and weekend shifts, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday.

• Must be able to work existing shifts from 6am-5pm, 7am-6pm, 11am-10pm, or 1pm-12am PST.

• Strong clinical and communication abilities.

• Proficient in evidence-based primary care practices.

• Competence in utilizing technology to provide high-quality care.

• Capability to communicate with and care for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Willingness to accept feedback and engage in self-reflection.

• Ability to handle uncertain situations with patients and colleagues effectively.

• Preparedness to adjust personal and interpersonal behaviors to meet patient needs.

• U.S. work authorization confirmed through E-Verify.
