
VIP Relationship Manager, Emerging Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of VIP clients with assets under management (AUM) or trading volumes exceeding established thresholds.
• Establish and nurture robust, trust-based relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, cryptocurrency funds, and institutional traders.
• Perform regular business reviews and check-ins with elite clients to evaluate satisfaction levels and pinpoint upselling opportunities.
• Serve as the internal advocate for VIP clients, collaborating with product, compliance, and operations teams to address issues swiftly.
• Proactively seek out and onboard new VIP clients through referrals, industry events, and regional outreach initiatives.
• Promote growth in trading volume, fee revenue, and cross-selling of products (including spot, derivatives, earn, OTC, and Web3 offerings).
• Formulate and implement territory-specific strategies to enhance presence across Africa (both Sub-Saharan and North Africa), Switzerland, and Pakistan.
• Represent the exchange at significant conferences, summits, and community events within the designated region.
• Keep abreast of the competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and macro trends influencing cryptocurrency adoption in Africa, Switzerland, and Pakistan.
• Collect and communicate client feedback to internal product and strategy teams to shape roadmap decisions.
• Recognize emerging trends in trading behavior and asset preferences among VIP client segments.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in relationship management, private banking, institutional sales, or brokerage, preferably within the realms of cryptocurrency, fintech, or financial services.
• A proven history of managing high-value client portfolios with measurable revenue impact.
• Previous experience in African markets, Swiss financial services, or Pakistan's fintech/crypto ecosystem is highly desirable.
• Background working in or with a cryptocurrency exchange, trading firm, or Web3 company is a considerable advantage.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the capability to foster relationships across diverse cultures.
• Strong commercial acumen with a knack for identifying revenue opportunities and closing deals.
• In-depth understanding of cryptocurrency products, including spot trading, perpetual futures, options, and staking.
• Proficient in CRM tools (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and data-driven reporting.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Proficiency in one or more regional languages is highly preferred: French, Swahili, Arabic, Hausa, Afrikaans (for Africa), German or French (for Switzerland), or Urdu or Punjabi (for Pakistan).
