This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Transform raw footage provided by clients into captivating short-form social media content, primarily focusing on Instagram Reels.
β’ Produce up to 4 completed videos weekly, based on workload and complexity.
β’ Eliminate unnecessary footage, pauses, filler words, repetitions, and weak segments.
β’ Highlight strong segments from longer recordings to create succinct clips.
β’ Incorporate captions/subtitles, background music, transitions, hooks, logos, outros, CTAs, and branded elements.
β’ Format videos appropriately for social media and ensure consistency across client content.
β’ Develop event recaps, highlights, behind-the-scenes content, talking-head videos, promotional videos, testimonials, educational clips, and branded videos.
β’ Customize editing styles to match various clients, industries, brand identities, music tastes, visual preferences, tones, and established social media presence.
β’ Design social media graphics, event graphics, promotional graphics, recap graphics, branded layouts, campaign assets, and basic promotional materials using Canva.
β’ Occasionally design event flyers, T-shirt graphics, marketing collateral, and other promotional items.
β’ Occasionally review and condense long-form footage into refined business or brand videos.
β’ Occasionally conceptualize logo designs, variations, brand marks, event branding, flyers, T-shirt graphics, and branded materials.
β’ Collaborate directly with Kelly, who supplies raw materials and creative guidance, reviews deliverables, provides feedback, and approves content prior to publication.
β’ Efficiently incorporate feedback and complete revisions.
β’ Communicate primarily through Slack.
β’ Maintain approximately 1β2 hours of daily overlap with the Texas-based client for communication, feedback, and coordination.
β’ Assist in expanding the agencyβs ability to take on additional clients and offer more services.
β’ Not accountable for final client approval, scheduling, or posting.
β’ Expertise in short-form video editing.
β’ Proven experience in creating Instagram Reels.
β’ High proficiency in Canva.
β’ Experience with captions/subtitles.
β’ Skill in selecting and synchronizing music.
β’ Strong visual and design sensibility.
β’ Ability to adhere to various client brand styles.
β’ Capacity to work independently.
β’ Keen attention to detail.
β’ Capability to transform raw footage into polished content.
β’ Ability to meet deadlines.
β’ Experience working with diverse industries and managing multiple client projects.
β’ Comfortable receiving creative direction and efficiently making revisions.
β’ Clear communication skills in English.
β’ Comfortable utilizing AI tools and eager to learn new AI-powered software.
β’ Portfolio showcasing Instagram Reels, short-form videos, talking-head videos, social media content, and event/recap videos.
β’ Strongly preferred: Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, long-form video editing, logo design, branding, event graphic design, social media design, and motion graphics.
β’ Strong logo design portfolio demonstrating principles of branding, typography, color theory, visual identity, concept development, multiple logo concepts, and the ability to interpret client personality and vision.
β’ Flexible working hours outside of the 1β2 hours of daily overlap with the Texas-based client.
β’ Initial commitment of 10 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours as the agency gains more clients.
