Video Editor, Social Media

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create videos from initial brief to final edit.

• Manage editing, subtitles, text overlays, music, and sound components.

• Optimize video performance by editing for engagement and adjusting hooks and variants based on viewer retention metrics.

• Tailor video content specifically for veterinarians and pet owners.

• Develop templates, subtitle styles, and sound libraries to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Independently prioritize and organize requests, communicate workload capacity, and adhere to deadlines.

• Pose specific questions or propose solutions when project briefs lack clarity.

• Experiment with new editing techniques and AI tools, integrating them into the existing workflow.

• If necessary, capture relevant social media content using a smartphone on short notice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Passionate about editing and skilled in video production.

• Able to present two to three examples of your own video edits.

• Proficient with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.

• Active on social media with an understanding of current effective hooks, sounds, and formats.

• Curious about AI applications in image, audio, and text, with a willingness to explore new tools independently.

• Strong self-organization skills in a remote work environment.

• Able to meet deadlines and ask questions when uncertainties arise.

• Communicate proactively if time constraints are a concern.

• Eagerness to produce a high volume of content and implement feedback promptly.

• Take ownership of your results.

• Internship, working student position, or mini-job as potential employment options.

• Submit two to three self-edited videos as part of your application.
