Social Media Manager, Chinese – Gaming

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Interact directly with players by responding to comments across various social media channels.

• Collaborate with team members to establish tone of voice, FAQs, and response protocols.

• Act as the primary contact for Community Managers in the absence of the CM Lead.

• Oversee client communications when the CM Lead is not available.

• Cultivate and sustain a positive workplace atmosphere, enhance engagement, and address conflicts.

• Generate reports that analyze content performance and suggest improvements.

• Support the CM Lead with performance reporting tasks.

• Take charge of the team’s Paid Social Media initiatives.

• Aid the CM Lead in overseeing processes and ensuring timely delivery of community management services across various projects.

• Assist in training and mentoring Community and Social Media Managers.

• Create content calendars that incorporate creative ideas.

• Schedule social media posts and craft copy that aligns with the brand's voice.

• Support campaign planning, conduct audience and trend research, and contribute to brand development.

• Collaborate with studios to source imagery and produce additional static and video assets as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous professional experience in community management or social media within the gaming industry.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Familiarity with and a solid understanding of Heybox, Rednote, and Billibilli.

• A strong passion for video games and social media.

• Comprehensive understanding of social media and community management platforms/channels, including Discord, Twitch, Reddit, Instagram, and Facebook.
