This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop high-quality, engaging content tailored for Facebook and Instagram platforms.
• Leverage trends, analytics, and strategic insights to expand social media accounts and achieve performance objectives.
• Schedule approved content using social media management tools.
• Analyze post performance metrics, including engagement, reach, and conversion rates.
• Utilize analytics data to enhance strategies and achieve targets.
• Stay updated on social media trends, platform changes, and industry developments.
• Implement organic social media campaigns in collaboration with the VP of Content Strategy.
• Report negative public relations issues to the Director of Social Media.
• Craft professional and tactful response plans to safeguard the brand’s reputation.
• Collaborate with the Moderation team as required.
• Supervise and manage designated team members.
• Ensure seamless execution, aligned output, accountability, and performance.
• Minimum of 4 years in a Social Media Manager role or similar positions overseeing Facebook/Instagram accounts with over 100,000 followers each.
• Proven experience in managing a personal brand account.
• At least 2 years of direct supervision experience with a creative/content team of 2 or more direct reports.
• Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks, review work products, and ensure team members meet deadlines.
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams across various specialized roles.
• Proficient in providing constructive feedback on content and post scheduling.
• Capability to mentor writers in adopting a defined brand voice.
• History of converting senior leadership directives into clear team priorities.
• Flexibility to reprioritize swiftly in response to strategic shifts.
• Competence in establishing audience growth metrics, analyzing performance data, and formulating action plans.
• Extensive knowledge of Facebook and Instagram policies, algorithms, and best practices.
• Basic graphic design proficiency and a keen eye for visual/aesthetic content.
• Proven track record of staying current with social media trends and integrating them into content strategy.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Completion of a skills assessment is required during the application process.
• Access to an updated Mac or Windows computer with antivirus protection.
• Stable high-speed internet connection.
