This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Edit podcast episodes and long-form video content from initial footage to final delivery.
• Produce high-quality video content that adheres to YouStudio TV's standards.
• Adhere to editing templates, formatting specifications, and brand guidelines.
• Manage various editing projects, deadlines, and production schedules simultaneously.
• Utilize cloud-based storage and collaboration systems for handling footage and project files.
• Organize raw footage, project files, exports, and production assets effectively.
• Enhance editing workflows and boost production efficiency.
• Collaborate with the YouStudio TV team to ensure projects are completed accurately and punctually.
• Implement revisions based on feedback while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
• Assist in reducing the backlog of podcast episodes pending editing.
• Uphold quality standards across high-volume production efforts.
• Communicate updates on project progress, delays, technical issues, and additional requirements.
• Support the growth and scalability of YouStudio TV's production systems.
• Proven professional background as a Video Editor.
• Extensive experience in editing podcasts, interviews, long-form content, or similar media productions.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with other professional video editing and production tools.
• Strong grasp of pacing, storytelling, transitions, audio synchronization, and visual flow.
• Experience in editing multi-camera footage.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across multiple projects.
• Experience managing large video files and maintaining organized file structures.
• Comfortable with cloud-based storage and remote collaboration workflows.
• Ability to adhere to established templates, processes, and creative direction.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Capacity to work independently without continual supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and responsiveness.
• Reliable computer equipped for editing high-resolution video files.
• Dependable high-speed internet connection.
• Access to or experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with cloud storage platforms and remotely shared media files.
• Capability to upload and download large video files efficiently.
