Vice President – Value-Based Finance

📋 Description

• Ownership of enterprise value-based contract economics.

• Leadership of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes integrated within risk models.

• Conducting actuarial-style financial analyses.

• Engaging with advanced data methodologies.

• Providing financial governance at the executive level.

• Guiding and mentoring a small team of analysts while maintaining a high standard for analytical rigor and business impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound knowledge of value-based care economics and structures of risk-bearing contracts.

• Advanced skills in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and forecasting.

• Strong leadership in FP&A with a track record of supporting executive and Board-level decisions.

• Proficient in SQL and capable of working with extensive healthcare datasets.

• Analytical thinking informed by actuarial principles (medical cost modeling, risk exposure, utilization trends).

• Ability to convert complex financial and healthcare data into clear strategic insights.

• Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of payer-provider dynamics.

• Excellent executive communication and presentation abilities.

• Strategic thinker with the capacity to influence the direction of the enterprise.

• Proven leadership and team development experience in a lean, high-performance setting.
