This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Construct and evaluate QoE analyses, NWC assessments, debt-like item schedules, and revenue trend exhibits from a healthcare perspective.
β’ Analyze the effects of payor mix on revenue quality, pinpoint revenue cycle discrepancies in historical financial data, and assess provider cost and compensation frameworks.
β’ Highlight the sector-specific adjustments that influence a sponsor's perception of normalized earnings in relation to a healthcare target.
β’ Leverage your understanding of healthcare financial mechanics β including reimbursement structures, managed care contracts, and cost reporting β to inform the data.
β’ Oversee the daily activities of Senior Associates and Associates β delegate tasks clearly, conduct thorough reviews, and ensure the engagement remains on schedule.
β’ Establish the quality benchmark for deliverables prior to submission to the Director β your name will be associated with the workpapers.
β’ Manage the data room: monitor incoming documents, maintain the open request list, and facilitate the progress of the deal team.
β’ Recognize when to independently resolve issues and when to escalate β and take action accordingly without needing prompts.
β’ Prepare sections of healthcare financial due diligence reports under the guidance of the Director.
β’ Link financial insights to sector-specific influences: implications of reimbursement rate changes on future earnings, indicators of collectability from revenue cycle backlogs, and risk implications of payor concentration.
β’ Conduct thorough self-reviews β your sections should be precise, well-structured, and necessitate minimal revisions before escalating.
β’ Create financial exhibits and formulate sector-informed inquiries that bolster management calls and client discussions.
β’ Engage in client calls and financial dialogues under the supervision of the Director β deliver findings clearly and address follow-up questions with accuracy.
β’ Collaborate across workstreams β tax advisors, legal teams, and other third parties β ensuring your workstream remains aligned while maintaining the narrative coherence.
β’ Guide Senior Associates through engagement workpapers and healthcare-specific analytical inquiries.
β’ Offer direct, meaningful feedback on their contributions β detailed enough to influence their approach in subsequent engagements.
β’ Exemplify the precision, pace, and healthcare acumen that the practice requires.
β’ A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, or public accounting, with significant exposure to healthcare deals.
β’ Proficient understanding of the financial mechanisms that underpin healthcare organizations: payor mix and reimbursement frameworks, revenue cycle processes, managed care agreements, and provider compensation models.
β’ Practical experience with QoE analysis, NWC assessments, and the identification of debt-like items in a diligence context.
β’ Capacity to interpret healthcare financial statements with sector-informed insight β understanding not just the figures but also how they reflect business operations.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification or active pursuit preferred.
