This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Spearhead and manage a comprehensive global Total Rewards strategy encompassing compensation, benefits, payroll, and recognition initiatives.
• Provide counsel to executive leadership, HR, Finance, Legal, and business units on matters related to compensation, incentives, retention, benefits, payroll governance, and Total Rewards challenges.
• Oversee global compensation initiatives, which include salary structures, job architecture, job leveling, pay ranges, merit and bonus processes, incentive plans, market pricing, and benchmarking activities.
• Create and sustain scalable global job architecture, job families, levels, bands, and career pathways.
• Manage the global benefits strategy and program design in collaboration with brokers, consultants, vendors, and regional stakeholders.
• Provide strategic oversight of global payroll operations, ensuring controls, processing accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Direct Total Rewards due diligence, risk assessments, retention analyses, harmonization efforts, communications, and post-acquisition integration for M&A activities.
• Generate analytics, dashboards, reports, and insights for executive decision-making, workforce planning, pay equity, cost modeling, and business reviews.
• Keep abreast of market trends, pay transparency mandates, regulatory changes, and competitive practices.
• Collaborate with Finance to assess financial impacts and align programs with budgets and growth strategies.
• Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, consultants, and platforms.
• Propel process enhancements, automation, governance, documentation, and controls.
• Lead, nurture, and expand a globally distributed team focused on compensation, benefits, and payroll.
• Effectively communicate Total Rewards programs to leaders, managers, employees, and acquired teams.
• Uphold policies, procedures, governance documents, internal controls, and compliance standards.
• Over 12 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with substantial expertise in compensation and Total Rewards.
• Proven experience in leading compensation, benefits, and/or payroll teams within a global or multi-jurisdictional setting.
• In-depth knowledge of compensation strategy, job architecture, market pricing, pay structures, incentive design, annual compensation planning, benchmarking, pay equity, and executive compensation advisory.
• Strong grasp of global benefits strategy, vendor/broker management, plan design, employee communications, compliance, and cost management in both US and international markets, including EMEA and APAC regions.
• Experience in overseeing payroll operations and governance across US and international jurisdictions.
• Background in supporting M&A due diligence and integration concerning compensation, benefits, payroll, retention, harmonization, communications, and change management.
• Robust analytical, financial, and business acumen, including data interpretation, market analysis, and cost modeling.
• Capability to influence and advise executives, business leaders, HR, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders effectively.
• Proficient in leading through uncertainty, managing numerous priorities, executing within tight timelines, and balancing strategic thought with practical execution.
• Strong project management, change management, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience in leading, developing, and scaling high-performing distributed teams.
• Familiarity with HRIS, compensation planning tools, payroll systems, analytics platforms, and related technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
