This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Take charge of the complete delivery process for the global footprint transformation initiative pertaining to Materials Science Solutions.
• Supervise the simplification of operations, development of facilities, transfer of equipment, and capital investments.
• Convert strategic plans into a sequenced, actionable multi-phase and multi-region programs, complete with timelines, dependencies, risk frameworks, CAPEX plans, and milestones.
• Propel objectives aimed at increasing revenue from $400M to $780M, ensuring timely project delivery, and maintaining production continuity.
• Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with HR on talent retention and transitions within the organization.
• Oversee two regional project directors responsible for the execution in the EU and North America.
• Plan and implement operations simplification, brownfield expansions, new capacity development, and equipment transfer, installation, and qualification programs.
• Manage facility design, layout optimization, and readiness for ramp-up in conjunction with Operations and site leadership.
• Create and implement standardized playbooks for equipment onboarding, production ramp/de-ramp planning, and capability transfers.
• Formulate site-level staffing and talent transition plans in partnership with HR and Operations leadership.
• Interact with statutory bodies and corporate functions while adapting to regulatory, trade, compliance, and labor consultation requirements.
• Oversee interactions with Operations, site leadership, HR, Finance, Go-To-Market teams, and corporate Legal and Compliance functions.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is required.
• A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Over 15 years of experience in global operations/manufacturing leadership.
• Proven experience in executing large-scale transformation programs within manufacturing and technology organizations.
• A solid track record in multi-site consolidation, ramp programs, and startups.
• Demonstrated experience with capital-intensive expansion initiatives that significantly impact customers.
• Proven capability in leading complex global Project Management Offices (PMOs).
• Strong discipline in program leadership and execution.
• Extensive expertise in managing and leading manufacturing operations.
• Proficient in manufacturing scale-up, facility development, equipment transfer, and industrialization.
• Ability to navigate both strategic and execution aspects, as well as commercial and operations interfaces, including direct-to-customer relationships.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Outstanding analytical skills and business insight.
• Strong critical thinking, independent judgment, and data-informed decision-making skills.
• Capability to manage multiple projects from start to finish while overcoming obstacles.
