This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement the income and estate tax planning strategy for Fidelity Wealth.
• Create scalable planning capabilities, strategic alliances, advisor support, and client engagement frameworks.
• Innovate and scale client engagement experiences, service models, and planning solutions.
• Collaborate with Wealth stakeholders to establish the vision, strategy, and service model, which includes assessing planning technology, third-party solutions, and referral partnerships.
• Offer consultation and thought leadership across various Wealth client segments.
• Spearhead the evolution, innovation, and expansion of income and estate tax planning capabilities.
• Integrate the client experience with Advanced Planning specialists.
• Report progress, recommendations, and business impact to senior Wealth leadership.
• Build and maintain relationships with external tax, trust, estate, and accounting partners.
• Recruit, hire, mentor, and motivate Wealth Strategists and Tax Planning Specialists.
• Establish and manage operating models, standards, supervision frameworks, and quality management processes.
• Act as a senior advisor on complex income and estate tax planning requirements.
• Define and track business, client, advisor, and associate outcomes and performance metrics.
• Align senior leaders across Wealth, Planning, Product, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Asset Management, and Operations.
• Oversee and supervise the provision of non-discretionary financial planning advice and recommendations.
• Evaluate associate competencies, allocate resources, make compensation decisions, and develop growth plans.
• Be prepared to travel up to 40% of the time based on proximity to regional sites and Investor Centers.
• Over 15 years of experience in public accounting/tax accounting, estate planning, and/or the financial services industry, particularly with High Net Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients.
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and cultivate high-performing teams that provide client-facing income and estate tax solutions.
• Extensive knowledge in income and estate tax planning, including its integration with investment, retirement, trust, and estate strategies.
• Demonstrated success in designing, launching, and scaling client-facing planning services or specialized solutions within a complex financial services environment.
• Strong grasp of regulatory requirements, supervision, risk management, and governance frameworks pertinent to financial planning and advisory services.
• Experience in evaluating and implementing planning technologies, digital solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• CPA certification is required.
• At least one of the following credentials is required: JD, MST, LLM in taxation, or PFS designation with AICPA.
• FINRA Series 7, 66, 9, and 10 licenses are required.
• Must comply with relevant financial services laws, regulations, and self-regulatory organization rules.
