This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +8 more states.
• Promote and implement pharmacy and healthcare services to Health Mart franchisees and McKesson pharmacies.
• Identify opportunities for growth and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a resource for field sales teams.
• Lead significant regional initiatives and priorities.
• Address intricate reimbursement systems, pharmacy workflows and efficiencies, front-of-store retail strategies, and other retail pharmacy business practices.
• Define and drive engagement in the field and pharmacy to enhance financial, clinical, and operational performance.
• Assess the educational needs of field teams, buying groups, and pharmacies.
• Ensure the execution and compliance of programs and franchise requirements within the designated region.
• Provide advice, advocacy, consultation, and coaching to store owners.
• Mentor and guide sales team members.
• Conduct training sessions for pharmacies and field sales teams.
• Offer thought leadership in the pharmacy industry along with clinical and retail expertise.
• Represent Health Mart in specialized projects, programs, and solutions.
• Serve as the primary consultant on large projects that impact long-term goals and objectives.
• Over 10 years of experience in retail and pharmacy operations, whether in chain or independent settings.
• Advanced knowledge of retail operations management.
• Proven experience in leading retail operational teams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong capability to influence and motivate others.
• Understanding of retail pharmacy systems.
• Experience in third-party management.
• Knowledge of pharmacy clinical practices.
• Familiarity with federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Business acumen with the ability to promote innovation and collaboration.
• A degree or equivalent experience; typically requires over 10 years in a relevant field.
• Fewer years of experience required if possessing a relevant Master’s or Doctorate degree.
• A degree in pharmacy (PharmD), nursing, or as a licensed advanced practice provider is ideal.
• An MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record/MVR is necessary.
• Must reside within the assigned regional territory: ME, NY, PA, NJ, VT, NH, CT, MA, RI.
• Capability to travel for store visits, meetings, and industry-related conferences.
• Travel up to 50% is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without any restrictions or future sponsorship.
