This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
• Cultivate and oversee executive-level relationships within key strategic accounts.
• Formulate, implement, and uphold enterprise-level account strategies that span surgical workflows, pathology operations, and oncology care delivery.
• Recognize opportunities to incorporate Caris molecular profiling and precision oncology solutions into clinical pathways and system-wide protocols.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews centered on performance, utilization trends, outcomes, and growth initiatives.
• Evaluate account- and regional-level data to uncover growth opportunities, adoption challenges, and productivity gaps.
• Act as a strategic collaborator with Regional Business Directors, ensuring alignment of enterprise priorities with regional execution.
• Provide indirect leadership, mentorship, and subject matter expertise to field roles.
• Oversee strategic initiatives including account onboarding, precision medicine program launches, pathology initiatives, workflow optimization, EMR integrations, and service enhancements.
• Facilitate cross-functional execution across Operations, Client Services, Laboratory, Medical Affairs, IT, and Marketing.
• Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics; monitor progress utilizing CRM and project management tools.
• Assist with complex deal strategies, value positioning, and account expansion.
• Function as a senior escalation point for key strategic accounts.
• Represent Caris Life Sciences at senior leadership levels within customer organizations as a long-term precision medicine partner.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in strategic account management, oncology diagnostics, precision medicine, or complex healthcare sales.
• Strong knowledge of molecular diagnostics, next-generation sequencing (NGS), oncology workflows, and pathology/laboratory operations.
• Proven track record of driving growth in complex, matrixed healthcare settings.
• Established ability to influence without direct authority and lead cross-functional and field teams.
• Proficient in CRM systems like Salesforce, reporting tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Capable of successfully completing pre-employment processes, including background checks, drug screening, and reference checks.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods while working remotely or on-site with clients.
• Willingness to travel by air and automobile for customer meetings and regional responsibilities.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Significant regional travel is required, with expectations of over 50% travel.
• Evening, weekend, or holiday work may be necessary based on customer demands and business objectives.
• After-hours responsiveness may be needed for critical customer or enterprise matters.
• Background checks, drug screenings, applicable credit checks, and reference verifications are mandatory.
• Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree.
• Preferred: Formal project management training or PMP certification.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting enterprise or health-system-level partnerships.
• Preferred: Established relationships within academic medical centers or large integrated delivery networks.
• Continuous training related to Caris products, systems, regulatory requirements, and commercial processes.
