This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Formulate and execute a strategy to position Manulife Investments within sales channels.
• Directly promote all Investment products to Financial Advisors.
• Employ an insight- and solution-driven selling methodology.
• Meet challenging sales objectives and annual production targets.
• Identify and cultivate new connections within the Financial Advisor network.
• Offer business development suggestions to advisors.
• Conduct seminars for advisors and investors.
• Work in partnership with the Internal Wholesaler and Territory Coordinator to create new sales opportunities.
• Establish professional relationships with Manulife field partners and representatives across various business divisions.
• Maintain regular face-to-face interactions with advisors in the designated region.
• Log daily activities in the contact management system.
• Develop and disseminate sales, marketing, business development strategies, and best practices.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment sales.
• Comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the financial services sector and capital markets.
• Active engagement in selling investment products through IIROC channels, broker/dealer networks, or banks.
• Profound knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, and segregated funds.
• Successfully completed the IFIC mutual funds course or the CSC.
• Highly ambitious and organized.
• Fully bilingual in French and English.
• Capable of communicating in both English and French to assist clients from various jurisdictions outside Quebec.
• Strong decision-making capabilities.
• Skills in project and business planning.
• Creative and innovative thinking.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in listening, conflict resolution, and presentation abilities.
• Computer literacy.
• Familiarity with all aspects of the sales process.
